SENIOR HSE ENGINEER (PP)

Work Location

Abu Dhabi (Offshore visits as per job requirements)

Leave Cycle

150/30 – on single status

335/30 – on family status (applicable after completion of Probation period)

Contract Hire – Limited

Working Hours

AUH - 07:00 to 15:00 (5 days a week)

Offshore - 06:30 to 18:30 (1-hour lunch break), 7 days a week

Salary

AED 15,000 per month

Probation Period

6 months

Status

Family status benefits will become applicable upon successful completion of the probationary period.

Qualification (minimum)

Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline / Health, Safety or Environmental Sciences or an equivalent.

Diploma in Safety Management or equivalent qualification.

Possession of NEBOSH International General Certificate or Oil and Gas Qualification.

Experience (minimum)

* Minimum 11+ years of experience as an Engineer in the same discipline.

* Must have relevant work experience in Abu Dhabi within the most recent three (3) years.

Job Description

* Develop and implement Project HSE Plans in line with ADNOC CoP and HSEMS

* Recent Abu Dhabi project experience with ADNOC and local authority compliance

* Conduct HSE risk assessments including HIRA, HAZID, and HSEIA

* Review HSE deliverables across design, construction, and commissioning

* Lead and supervise HSE teams and contractors effectively

* Implement HSEMS, audits, and corrective actions

* Perform incident investigations and root cause analysis

* Plan and deliver HSE training and emergency drills

Skills

* Strong knowledge of local and international HSE laws, regulations, and best practices

* Proven expertise in Oil & Gas HSE systems, process operations, and safety technologies

* Advanced competency in HSE risk assessment, auditing, and hazard identification

* Excellent incident investigation and root cause analysis capability

* Strong leadership, decision‑making, and ability to work under pressure

* Effective HSE training, communication, and presentation skills

* High attention to detail, analytical thinking, time management, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
