HSE ENGINEER
Job Description:
Develop, implement, and maintain the Project HSE Plan in line with contractual and company requirements.
Ensure compliance with HSE policies, legal regulations, and client-specific safety requirements.
Advise and support Project Managers and Site Management on all HSE matters throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and workplace assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
Monitor project HSE performance and prepare periodic reports, KPIs, and management updates.
Lead incident, accident, and near-miss investigations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Analyze HSE trends and recommend continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project safety performance.
Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, awareness sessions, and safety training to employees and contractors.
Identify workplace hazards, perform risk assessments, and implement effective control measures.
Coordinate and monitor subcontractors to ensure compliance with HSE standards and contractual obligations.
Promote HSE best practices and foster a strong safety culture across project teams.
Maintain all HSE documentation, records, permits, and statutory reports.
Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders on HSE-related matters.
Ensure implementation and compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems where applicable.
Monitor environmental performance and ensure proper waste management and pollution prevention practices.
Support project execution during site preparation, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
Utilize digital HSE management systems for reporting, inspections, and documentation.
Exercise Stop Work Authority whenever unsafe conditions or unsafe acts pose a risk to personnel, assets, or the environment.
Capture and communicate lessons learned to support continuous improvement across future projects.
Support the implementation of HSE improvement programs across projects and local business units.
Ensure compliance with Linxon's Code of Conduct, business ethics, and regulatory requirements.
Travel to project sites as required to provide HSE support and oversight.
