Qualification (minimum)

Senior Secondary School

Basic Rigging & Slinging and Scaffolding Erection & Dismantling certifications are preferred.

Experience (minimum)

Minimum 5 years of experience in scaffolding erection activities within the Oil & Gas industry.

Job Description

* Erect, dismantle, inspect, and modify scaffolding structures safely as per approved specifications and work instructions.

* Carry out scaffolding support activities for integrity inspection, NDT, maintenance, and painting works at elevated locations.

* Monitor the physical condition of scaffolding systems, tagging status, and report any non‑conformances in line with HSE and quality standards.

* Attend toolbox meetings and follow operational procedures to ensure work is executed in a controlled, safe, and consistent manner.

* Maintain scaffolding materials, tools, clamps, and accessories in good condition with proper storage and housekeeping practices.

* Assist in preventive and corrective scaffolding maintenance activities to support uninterrupted operations.

* Comply fully with Oil & Gas HSE regulations, ADOC policies, PPE requirements, and environmental standards at all times.

Skills

* Practical experience in scaffolding erection and dismantling within Oil & Gas facilities.

* Knowledge of different types of scaffolds, tagging systems, and surface preparation requirements.

* Certified in Scaffolding Erection & Dismantling and Basic Rigging & Slinging (UAE compliance)

* Good housekeeping, safety awareness, and ability to work at height in compliance with HSE standards.

* Basic communication and writing skills in English to support Integrity Inspectors and NDT Technicians.
