Qualification (minimum)

Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering.

API 610 / API 617 / API 660 Certification with proven experience in Static and Rotating Equipment.

PMP certification or an MBA is preferred.

Experience (minimum)

* Minimum 12–15 years' experience in Mechanical Engineering on Onshore/Offshore FEED and EPC Oil & Gas projects.

* Minimum 5 years' Oil & Gas experience in the UAE, plus at least 5 years' Oil & Gas experience within the GCC.

* Experience across Engineering, Design, Construction, and Field Engineering roles, with exposure to Consultant and Contractor environments in both Onshore and Offshore projects.

Job Description

* Lead mechanical engineering activities for FEED and EPC projects, covering static equipment, packaged systems, and rotating machinery.

* Ensure all mechanical designs comply with ASME and API codes and standards.

* Review and approve specifications, design calculations, datasheets, and vendor documents for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, generators, nitrogen packages, and utility systems.

* Provide technical support during installation, testing, commissioning, and mechanical completion phases.

* Conduct risk assessments, prepare PTW documentation, and ensure compliance with ADOC HSE requirements.

* Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues and maintain quality and schedule compliance.

* Apply broad rotating equipment expertise, acting as a Mechanical–Rotary Engineer when required.

Skills

* Strong FEED and EPC project experience in Oil & Gas environments.

* Proven Field Engineering and site execution experience (onshore/offshore).

* Expertise in static and rotating equipment, including package equipment engineering.

* Solid mechanical design capability with application of ASME and API codes/standards.

* Willingness for onshore/offshore site visits, with strong multitasking and communication skills.
