Job Description:

Key Responsibilities – Team Leader, Quality Assurance

  • Lead, supervise, and coach the Quality Assurance (QA) team to ensure high-quality inspection standards and optimal team performance.
  • Coordinate with Project Management teams to ensure resources are available for contractors to achieve project quality objectives.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with company quality standards, procedures, and policies.
  • Guide QA Engineers and consultants during pre-inspections to ensure units meet required quality standards before handover.
  • Ensure QA Engineers follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for inspections, snagging, reporting, and preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
  • Review and verify BOQs and snag lists before submission to the Commercial team.
  • Ensure properties are fully inspected, defect-free, and ready for client handover within the required turnaround time.
  • Perform final verification of completed works and subcontractor completion documentation.
  • Conduct weekly coordination meetings with project teams and consultants to identify quality issues, delays, and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor attendance and performance of outsourced QA personnel and review monthly reports.
  • Review and approve client handover appointment requests received through the company's customer portal or handover management system.
  • Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure timely resolution while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Organize and deliver training programs to QA Engineers to improve inspection quality and technical knowledge.
  • Coordinate with the CRM team by providing project documents, drawings, and other required information.
  • Ensure receipt and proper management of handover documentation, including drawings, warranty certificates, operation manuals, and related project documents.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, handovers, snagging history, and project documentation, and provide regular updates to management.
  • Ensure a smooth, professional, and positive customer journey throughout the property handover process.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality procedures, and organizational standards.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in quality processes, productivity, and cost optimization.
  • Prepare and submit accurate reports, quality metrics, and management updates as required.
  • Exercise decision-making authority within the approved company policies and authorization matrix.
